Peal of 19-Spliced Surprise Major

A peal of 19-Spliced Surprise Major was rung on Sat 26th Nov 2016, as a birthday compliment to Richard Green. Conducted by Patrick Brooke, this was Greg & Jonathan's most spliced methods to a peal.

Trumpington wins District Striking Competition

This year's Cambridge District 6-Bell Striking Competition 2016 took place at Brinkley on Saturday 9th July 2016. Six teams (four tower teams and two scratch bands) competed for the Ludbrook Plate, ably judged by Adrian Sweeting and Niamh Hickey from Barnet. Trumpington won with the fewest faults in their test piece of 120 changes of Plain Bob Doubles. The competition trophy - the Ludbrook Plate - has special significance as it was donated by the Trumpington Ringers in memory of Ivan Ludbrook, a former Tower Captain at Trumpington.
